Tallahassee, Fla. (WTXL) - The trial for the woman charged in the murder of Florida State University law professor Dan Markel has been pushed back.
Katherine Magbanua was supposed to go before a jury later this month.
Monday a judge has agreed to give the defense more time.
A pre-trial date has now been set for May 1st, 2017.
A new trial date has not been decided.
Magbanua is the third person officially charged in Markel's murder.
