LOWNDES CO., Ga. (WTXL) - A traffic stop turns into a drug trafficking arrest in Lowndes County.

Kenneth Charles Coffee Junior is charged with trafficking and tampering with evidence.

He was the passenger in a vehicle pulled over for speeding.

The deputy says he noticed white residue in the car, on the front floor board. They say a field test showed the residue was 41 grams of MDMA, also known as ecstasy, and that during an interview, coffee admitted to being responsible for it.

They say coffee tried to get rid of the drugs, which is how it ended up on the floor of the car.
