TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)- A Tallahassee man and woman were arrested over the weekend after troopers stopped them for speeding and found marijuana inside their car.
On Saturday, Unika Footman, 30, and a passenger, Antonio Sims, 30, were driving in a black Dodge Charger westbound on State Road 20 near Turkey Creek going 73 mph in a 55 mph speed limit zone.
After initiating the traffic stop, Florida Highway Patrol discovered that Footman had a suspended driver license and Sims had 35 grams of marijuana.
Footman was issued citations for speeding and driving with a suspended license. Sims was arrested for possessing more than 20 grams of marijuana and transported to the Liberty County Jail.
