TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Deputies say a traffic stop for a busted tag light lead them to make three arrests for possession of fentanyl, meth and other illegal drugs.
According to an arrest document, an Leon County Sheriff's deputy spotted a white pickup truck driving eastbound on Tennessee Street with a broken tail light on Monday.
The deputy stopped the car and spoke with the driver, who identified himself as Brian Good. The other two passengers identified themselves as Auburn Hambrick and Ernest Fowler.
At the end of the traffic stop, the officer told Good he would only be issued a verbal warning. After, the deputy asked to search the vehicle and Good agreed, saying he had nothing to hide.
However, documents say that as the deputy began the search, he spotted a white straw with a white and crystal like substance sticking out of a purse. They also found a bag with a meth pipe inside and a pill.
Based on the discoveries, all three were detained and searched.
As Good was being searched, documents say he kept trying to reach for a small coin pocket in his jeans. Inside, deputies found a small bag of meth.
After the discovery, Good begin to struggle against deputies, eventually taking out and stomping on another plastic bag he managed to get out of his pocket. That's when deputies took Good to the ground.
Good continued to struggle and kick at the bags he took out his pocket. When a deputy tried to grab the bag, documents say Good twisted the deputy's fingers.
Deputies were forced to tase Good, who finally released the bag. Inside the bag, deputies found cannabis. Deputies continued their search, finding five bags on Brian that contained meth and fentanyl.
They also found a bank bag that belonged to Good with approximately $2,000 in cash and $1,000 worth of cash inside his wallet.
During an interview, Good admitted to purchasing the drugs throughout the day because he and his wife were looking to party.
Through an investigation, deputies learned that the meth covered straw was located in Auburn's purse, though she denied knowing what was in the purse. Deputies note they found meth in two different places inside the purse.
According to arrest documents, deputies also found meth in Fowler's pocket.
All three were placed under arrest and booked into jail. Fowler and Hambrick remain in jail as of Wednesday while Good has gotten out on a $16,000 bond.

Brian Good, 55, of Cottondale
- Possession of a controlled substance without a prescription
- Possession of methamphetamine
- Possession of marijuana (not over 20 grams)
- Tampering with evidence
- Resisting officer with violence
- Battery on officer
Ernest Fowler, 21, of Cottondale
- Possession of methamphetamine
- Possession of a controlled substance without a prescription
- Possession of narcotic equipment
Auburn Hambrick, 35, of Tallahassee
- Possession of methamphetamine
- Possession of narcotic equipment
