THOMASVILLE, GA. (WTXL) - Thomasville drivers are asked to prepare for traffic delays.
CSX will be making improvements to the Pinetree Boulevard railroad crossing beginning Monday March 9th. As a result, a section of Pinetree Boulevard, between Remington Avenue and Williamsburg Avenue, will be closed to traffic.
CSX will also begin work on the crossing located on Covington Avenue as well. There is no detour route planned while this work takes place. As a result, Covington Avenue will be closed to all thru-traffic until work is completed.
Both projects are expected to take approximately one week to complete.
Citizens are advised to plan alternate routes during construction and to anticipate delays when traveling through these areas.
