QUINCY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Highway Patrol says I-10 eastbound at mile marker 176 is no longer blocked.

An accident involving an overturned semitruck earlier Tuesday morning had blocked the eastbound roadway at mile marker 176 and led to traffic being redirected at mile marker 174.

The semitruck's driver, Sandeep Singh, 23, of Fresno, CA, received minor injuries and was taken to the Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, troopers said.

Troopers said the semitruck was traveling eastbound on I-10 about 2:50 a.m. Tuesday when it left the roadway and traveled onto the center grass median.

When the driver steered right to reenter the roadway, the rear of the trailer slid further into the median and eventually the semitruck came to rest on its left side.
