TIFT COUNTY, Ga (WTXL) - Tift County Deputies have identified the driver killed in an car crash.
Authorities say 43 year-old Jeremy Jones, of Waynesboro, Georgia, hit a tractor-trailer with his pickup truck.
Officials say, it happened on U.S. 319 and Old Omega Road on the night of Tuesday, June 6.
Jones died on scene, his passenger was flown to the hospital.
Georgia State Patrol are handling the investigation.
