Tractor Involved Crash Causes 35 Gallon Diesel Spill on North Monroe Street

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Division of Emergency Management says that 35 gallons of diesel spilled on North Monroe Street after a tractor hit a pole near Pizza Hut early this morning.

They said that around 3 a.m. on Monday, a driver backed his trailer into a pole at 3521 North Monroe Street. Thirty-five gallons of diesel spilled from the tractor as a result.

FDEM has not confirmed any injuries in the incident.

No storm drains or waterways reported impacted. They said that clean up actions are being planned.
