TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--Police in Tallahassee say numerous residents have complained about receiving suspicious text messages from Bank of America.
The message asks for the person to contact the bank due to fraud being detected on their account.
Once the person calls the number provided, an automated message asks the person for additional information including the caller's debit card number.
TPD says no financial institution will request account information in this way.
They are asking you not to provide any information and if you have any concerns, call your bank.
