TPD: Traffic stop leads to arrests of two on drug and firearm charges

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Two men were arrested on drug and firearm charges after Tallahassee police made a traffic stop.

The stop Friday, at West Tharpe Street and Colorado Street, resulted in officers locating drugs and two loaded handguns, one previously reported stolen, according to a Tallahassee Police Department post on Facebook.

James Corker was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, grand theft of a firearm, carrying a concealed firearm (2 counts), possession of cannabis less than 20 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Markeith Stevens was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
