Officers say these hazards pose a big threat, but the best way to avoid them is to stay home.
Fire departments and electric utility crews are working to make sure resources are available and in place to respond to any issues. City vehicles have been gassed up and stocked with essential supplies, and contact is being made with mutual aid partners.
