TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--It's been a rainy start to summer, and the Tallahassee Police Department has some reminders when you are driving in heavy rain to help you make it safely to your destination.
Officer Dave Northway says to avoid hydroplaning, reduce your speed by about 10-15 miles below the speed limit.
If you think your car is slipping when you are driving, don't hit the brakes because you could run off the road and crash.
