TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Police Department is searching for a suspect who was caught on camera attempting to break into a home.
Police say the man is suspected in a series of burglaries in the 900 block of Crawfordville Trace on June 1.
They say the suspect was caught on an exterior home surveillance camera jumping the fence, looking in windows and the rear door of the home.
Luckily, the house in the video was locked, so the suspect was unable to get inside. However, police say the next homes weren't so lucky.
In the matter of a few minutes, two more homes were targeted that day. The suspect was able to successfully burglarize one of the homes. Police say the suspect attempted another home until he realized someone was home.
Police say the suspect tried to break into a total of three homes within a matter of minutes. If you have any information, you are asked to call Investigator Hartsfield at (850) 891-4304.
