TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Police Department responds to reports of a woman being stabbed on 1700 Joe Louis Street at approximately 10:50 p.m. on Tuesday, August 15.
Police and emergency personnel found the wounded female and provided immediate medical care. The female was then transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.
The Violent Crimes Unit of TPD is investigating the case and they have identified the suspect as Moses Jones. Police say the victim and Jones are domestically related.
Jones is currently in custody and is being medically treated at a local hospital for the ingestion of illegal substances. Once medically cleared, he will be transported to the Leon County Jail for processing.
