TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- Police are still searching for answers in a July murder, renewing their efforts to track down a person of interest in the case.

Investigators are looking for a man in a photo released by the police department.

The shooting happened around 3 a.m. on July 30 at the Aqua Park Apartments on Old Bainbridge Road.

When police arrived, they found 23-year-old D-Mario Hollingsworth dead from gunshot wounds.

"We called on our Violent Crimes Unit. We brought them out, along with our forensics unit," said Officer David Northway. "We gathered all the evidence and interviewed any possible witnesses that evening, but the case is continuing to move forward, but just at a slower pace than we wish."

Police are looking into all leads in the case. Anyone who recognizes the man should call police at 850-891-4200 and ask for Investigator Greg Wilder.
