TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Members of the Tallahassee community got to sit down and enjoy some ice cream with a few of our police officers.
The Tallahassee Police Department held their "Cone with a Cop" Thursday at the Chick-fil-A off of Capital Circle Northeast.
They say events like these are a great chance for anyone to come up and ask questions.
"It brings cops to a different level when your talking about police officers on the street and what not. It's fine to sit down and talk with them and ask them questions because many times people have a lot of questions, especially the young kids, they always what to know what the equipment is and what officers do," said TPD Officer Eric Hansen.
The event wrapped up at 4:00 p.m.
