TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Three people have been arrested following an investigation into open-air drug sales in Tallahassee.
On Wednesday, the Tallahassee Police Department's Special Investigations Section conducted an operation focused on open air drug sales in the city.
Investigators utilized several surveillance techniques to develop probable cause, and as a result, three people were arrested in three separate incidents.
All three were charged with selling drugs, specifically cocaine.
The arrests occurred at two locations on West Brevard Street and Alabama Street.
The suspects arrested and their charges are below:
Justin Grantsteadman - Charges:
- Sale of Cocaine within 1000 feet of a Place of Worship
- VOP/Possession of Cocaine
- Possession of Cocaine
- Possession of Marijuana not more than 20 grams
- Resisting an Officer Without Violence
Christy C. Holgate - Charges:
- Sale of Cocaine
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Anthony L. Brooks -Charges:
- Sale of Cocaine within 1000 feet of a Municipal Park
- Possession of Marijuana not more than 20 grams
- Violation of Conditional Release by Committing a Felony
