TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Police Department is revealing more information about a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning.
Details are limited, but police believe the shooting happened around 2:30 a.m.
TPD was called to a local hospital after a 16-year-old victim went to the ER with a non-life threatening injury.
They say an initial investigation has revealed the shooting occurred in the area of the parking lot of 2020 West Pensacola Street. The 16-year-old victim said he was in the parking lot when he heard gunshots and was then hit in the foot by a bullet.
The victim has not been identified, and it's unknown whether there are other victims involved.
TPD says they believe there were other car in the parking lot at the time, whose occupants may have witnessed the shooting.
