TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - The Florida Department of Law Enforcement announced Monday that Tallahassee Police Chief Michael DeLeo will be serving on Florida's Domestic Security Oversight Council.
The council is responsible for advising Florida's seven Regional Domestic Security Task Forces. DeLeo will be a voting member of the council as well as the chairman of domestic security intelligence committee.
DeLeo was appointed as Chief of the Tallahassee Police Department back in December 2013.
