TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Police have arrested Adrienne Debose in relation to a firearm incident at 1833 West Tennessee Street at the Coliseum nightclub on Saturday, August 5.
Officers working security detail in the parking lot were notified by a citizen that a black male was flashing around two guns. As officers approached the suspect, they saw him holding a gun as he got into a car attempting to leave the area.
Realizing the threat at hand, the officer stopped the car and detained the suspect.
After the police conducted an investigation, they located two loaded 9mm handguns, crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.
One of the handguns had been reported stolen to TPD earlier in the year.
The investigation also revealed Debose as a Florida Convicted Felon and could not legally possess the firearms.
Debose faces the following charges:
- Possession of Firearm by Florida Convicted Felon pursuant to Florida Statute
- Carrying a Concealed Firearm pursuant to Florida Statute
- Possession of Cocaine pursuant to Florida Statute
- Possession of Paraphernalia pursuant to Florida Statute
Officers transported Debose to the Leon County Jail for processing and confiscated the handguns.
