TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Veterans Day Parade and 5k will be held on Saturday, November 11 in Tallahassee.
The Tallahassee Police Department wants the public to be aware of road closures that will start at 7:30 a.m. the day of the festivities
The following streets will be closed for the 5k Route:
- Start on E. Park between Calhoun/Jefferson
- East on Park to Franklin
- South on Franklin to Lafayette
- South on Lafayette to Gaines
- East then north through Cascades Park to Lafayette
- East on Lafayette to Myers Park Dr.
- South then west on Myers Park Dr. to E. Van Buren
- West on Van Buren to S. Gadsden
- South S. Gadsden to Oakland
- West on Oakland to S. Monroe
- North on S. Monroe to E. Gaines (outside lane only)
- East on E. Gaines to S. Gadsden
- North S. Gadsden to Finish (just south of College)
The following streets will be closed for the 1 Mile Fun Run Route:
- Start on E. Park between Calhoun/Jefferson
- East on Park to Franklin
- South on Franklin to Lafayette
- South on Lafayette to E. Madison
- West on E. Madison to S. Gadsden
- North S. Gadsden to Finish (just south of College)
