TALLAHASSEE, FL - Wednesday is Towel Day. It's an annual celebration and a tribute to the late author Douglas Adams, and particulary his book "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy."

Lofty Pursuits is celebrating his work and Owner Gregory Cohen visited Sunrise to chat all about an event taking place there.

All day people can treat themselves to babel fish candy.

Lofty Pursuits will be offering a 20% discount on ice cream if you bring your towel and are a 'hoopy frood.'

On display are Autographed copies of the guide, copies from the collection of Lofty Pursuits Owner Gregory Cohen.

The day peaks at 8 p.m., with the Vogon Poetry slam, a bad poetry contest inspired by the works of the great Vogon Poets. The worst poem wins.
