Tow Truck Flips After Driver Over Corrects

JEFFERSON COUNTY, FL. (WTXL)-- A tow truck has been involved in an accident on I-10 near mile marker 225 when it rain into a median and flipped, Saturday.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the International Flatbed Tow Truck was traveling west on the interstate and when an unknown vehicle began to "fishtail" it.

Reports state that the driver, Joyce Hernandez Leon, then ran into the median for 320 feet. Leon, then over corrected and went back into the roadway before over correcting again causing the vehicle to turn and head back into the median.

At this time, the vehicle flipped and landed on its roof facing north.

FHP states that Leon received no injuries from the accident, but is charged with failure to stay in an single lane.
