DECATUR COUNTY, Ga. (WTXL) - A toddler and teenager were taken to the hospital after a boating accident in Decatur County.
Wednesday evening, the Decatur County Fire Department was called to an accident on the Flint River.
Decatur County Fire says at about 7:20 p.m., an intertube with two riders was being pulled behind a boat.
According to Decatur County Fire, the driver of the boat tried to turn around, but was too close to a tree that had fallen and the intertube hit the tree, injuring both riders.
A 2-year-old was taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital by helicopter and a 15-year-old was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
There is no word on their condition at this time.
