BROOKS CO., Ga. (WTXL)-- A toddler who died after being found unresponsive while in the care of a babysitter in Brooks County has now been identified.

2-year-old Parker Bledsoe was in the care of a babysitter on Cedar Hill road when emergency crews responded to the home Thursday afternoon.

According to our media partners at the Tallahassee Democrat, the child was rushed to South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta.

The child then had to be airlifted to Shands Hospital and 24-hours later was pronounced dead.
