TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - At least 700 families showed up at the 12th annual Baby and Family Fair on Saturday.
Tallahassee Memorial Hospital hosted the event. Close to 70 organizations and agencies were connecting with families who wanted to learn about useful resources in their community.
In addition to kid-friendly activities, parents were learning about healthcare, breastfeeding, baby sitting options and everything in between.
"If we didn't have this event, I don't think that we would know what the community actually has to offer, the different programs, the different places you can visit to learn different building skills. We took the music class and learned different instruments and all sorts of different ways that kids can communicate effectively with other children," said Kelly Bruce.
During the event, TMH offered music therapy and cooking classes to get children interested in new activities.
