TIFTON, Ga. (WTXL) - The city of Tifton's water system will receive a $4.2 million investment.
Tifton Mayor Julie Smith says they have known for some time the water systems are deteriorating from old age.
While the city and county will benefit from the improvements, Tifton's public works crews found the Pebble Brooke neighborhood, and the area around Matt Wilson elementary school, are most in need of repairs.
