TIFTON, Ga. (WTXL)--The Tifton Police Department says $100 counterfeit bills have been passed in the area in the last few months.
There are two serial numbers police have noted that are from the older style 1990 bills. They numbers are: B02492407B and H58388655A.
Police say those are not the only two serial numbers. They encourage employees to carefully examine any $100 bills. If you suspect they are counterfeit, call law enforcement.
