TIFTON, Ga. (WTXL)--A Tifton man is in critical condition after nearly drowning at a hotel pool.
It happened at the Travelodge at 1103 King Road on Sunday. Police say when they arrived, 20-year-old Andrew Pittman was at the bottom of the pool.
Pittman's fiance said her brothers were swimming. She told police Pittman jumped in and started struggling.
Officers pulled him out of the water. He was taken to a hospital and is in critical condition.
