TIFTON, Ga. (WTXL) -- A Tift County teacher is suspended for 5 days after making an insensitive post to Facebook.
Kelly Tucker made the post in reference to last year's controversy in Ferguson, Missouri over the shooting death of Michael Brown.
Today, the school board voted 4 to 1 to decrease her suspension from the original 10 days recommended for a total of a 5 day suspension.
Tucker will also have to undergo diversity training.
She has 30 days to appeal the board's decision.
