TIFT COUNTY, Ga. (WTXL) - Tift County names it's County Teacher of the Year.
Marisol Griffis, a 4th Grade Teacher at Bailey Elementary School, was selected for this prestigious award.
Each of the schools in the district selects a teacher, nominated by their peers, to be sent to the committee for voting.
The teacher that gets this honor is then given a vehicle for a year.
This year's teacher is excited about the honor and what it brings to the community.
