TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A restaurant formerly known as Joe Mama's has closed.
The owner of Tifeo Italian Tavern, Devon Nunneley, confirmed that the business closed its doors for the final time on Monday.
She says that he sold the restaurant to a new owner, who is will be opening a new restaurant sometime in September.
Nunneley told WTXL that she has decided to return to practicing law.
"It is a family business, and we decided that it would be better to sell than to have someone outside of the family operate it," wrote Nunneley. "I'd rather not say who the new owner is - I am sure that person will want to announce it, and I don't want to spoil it! But I will say that it will be an excellent addition to the Midtown dining scene."
