TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A mother, daughter and another woman have been arrested in connection with a December 2017 stabbing on Holton Street.
Laquita Smith was taken into custody on Wednesday but got out on a $1,000 bond the same day. Her mother, Natasha Hawkins, was arrested on December 20, 2017. She got out on a $11,000 bond the next day.
According to an arrest document, an adult, female victim was stabbed at Leon County Arms Apartments (2500 Holton Street) at approximately 7:03 p.m. on Dec. 20.
The reports said the fight was a "mutual, pre-planned physical altercation" that involved multiple people who all knew each other.
Investigators say the incident stemmed from an "outstanding feud" from a fight that happened earlier between Smith and the victim.
Eventually, the mothers of both parties got involved in the fight, and the victim was stabbed twice. After an investigation, police determined that Hawkins stabbed the victim.
The victim's mother, Latasha Savage, Hawkins and Smith were all charged in connection to the incident.
Hawkins was arrested on December 20, 2017 and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
Savage turned herself in on Jan. 1 for disorderly contact. She has since bonded out and has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
On Dec. 28, police issued a warrant for Smith's arrest. She was finally taken into custody on Wednesday and was charged with disorderly conduct.
