WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL)--Three sea turtles are headed back home, into the sea this week. The endangered Kemp's ridley sea turtles will make their way into gulf after spending time at the Gulf Specimen Marine Lab.
One of the turtles names is Ryvir, named after a five-year-old girl who donated the money from her birthday presents to the turtles at Gulf Specimen.
The little girl will preside of the release of Ryvir. The event is Friday at 3 p.m. at the St. Marks Lighthouse.
