SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Highway Patrol says three teens and a police officer were injured after a crash involving a Live Oak patrol car.

Troopers say the crash happened on Saturday around 1:25 p.m. near Winderweedle Street and Broome Avenue.

They say the patrol car, driven by 21-year-old officer Ryan MacFadden of Live Oak, was going west on Winderweedle Street NW to respond to a call. Troopers note the car's lights and siren were activated.

Another car, driven by 18-year-old Carlton Hall of Live Oak, was also going west on Winderweedle and was in front of the patrol vehicle.

Officer MacFadden tried to pass Hall's car, but before he could, Hall started turning onto Broome Avenue NW, causing the two cars to crash.

Everyone, including Hall's two teenage passengers, were transported to the hospital for minor injuries.

Troopers are charging Hall with failure to yield right of way.
