(WTXL) - Three teenagers were caught after the Florida Highway Patrol stopped them Monday night in a vehicle stolen out of Leon County.
At 9:18 p.m. Monday a stolen vehicle out of Leon County was reported traveling southbound on U.S. 319 toward Wakulla County, FHP said.
The Wakulla County Sheriff's Office tried to make a traffic stop on the stolen vehicle, but the vehicle maneuvered between the WCSO patrol vehicles and traveled north onto U.S. 319.
FHP pursued the stolen vehicle into Leon County and boxed the vehicle in to lower its speed and initiated a stopping maneuver.
After the stop, FHP said, "a short foot pursuit ensued leading to the driver being apprehended along with two other passengers in the vehicle."
FHP said charges are pending and have not released the names of the teens. The driver, a male, is age 17. The passengers are females, one 14 and the other 15.
