BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Highway Patrol says an adult and three teens are in serious condition after a head-on crash in Bay County.

Troopers say that a car driven by Jon Courtney, 30, from Fountain, Fla. was going north on U.S. 231 around 4:35 a.m. Tuesday when he lost control of his car and traveled into the southbound lanes, hitting a car driven by a 17-year-old head-on.

The impact caused Courtney to be ejected from the car.

Everyone involved in the accident was seriously injured, including the two teen passengers in the 17-year-old's car. Reports show the two passengers were age 16 and 17.

FHP says that all involved were transported to the Bay Medical Center.
