WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Highway Patrol says three people are injured after a crash on U.S. 98 blocked roads for an hour.
They say that 22-year-old Ana Marie Robison of Crawfordville was driving southbound on Spring Creek Highway Wednesday night when she stopped for a flashing red light at the intersection of Spring Creek Hwy and Coastal Hwy (U.S. 98).
Charles Bien, 65, of Satsuma, Fla. was driving eastbound on U.S. 98 when Robison entered the intersection in front of Bien, causing a head-on crash.
Troopers say Bien's car then hit a traffic light pole, causing the traffic signals to fall on the road.
He suffered serious injuries and was transported to the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Robison and the 21-year-old Crawfordville woman who was riding with her were also transported to TMH for minor injuries.
Robison has been charged for red light violations.
WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Wakulla County authorities have cleared a serious traffic crash at the intersection of Spring Creek Hwy and Coastal Hwy (Hwy 98).
They declined to comment on injuries or people involved in the crash on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, about 6:25 p.m., officials said traffic was blocked in the area.
They had asked drivers to try to find alternate routes during their commute or to follow the commands of deputies on scene.
