Three Marianna people arrested for drug related charges

JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Three Marianna people were arrested for drug related charges in Jackson County.  

Bonnie Barnes, 49, Earl Barnes,37, and Sammuel Gibson, 36, were arrested by the Jackson County Sheriff's Office on Friday. 

On Friday, the United States Marshal's Service Florida Regional Task Force along with JCSO executed arrests on the three suspects for narcotics related arrest warrants.  

Bonnie and Earl were arrested at their home in the Rocky Creek community. JCSO says during the arrests, Bonnie was additionally found to be in possession of crystal methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. 

Gibson was found in the Shady Grove community with help provided by the Sneads Police Department. 

JCSO says additional arrests are forthcoming. 

Based on the evidence, they are being charged with the following, 

  • Bonnie Barnes: sale of a controlled substance, felony public nuisance, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia 
  • Earl Barnes: felony public nuisance 
  • Sammuel Gibson: sale of a controlled substance and felony public nuisance
