TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Police Department says they found two semi-automatic rifles and drugs while monitoring a pool party at College Club Townhomes.

TPD arrested three men on Saturday after they found the guns and drugs in their car.

They said that officers were monitoring a pool party at the College Club Townhomes when they noted three men wearing clothing associated with being in a gang.

Officers went to talk to them and got a K-9 officer to sniff the outside of their tan Ford Explorer.

TPD says the K-9 gave a positive alert for the odor of drugs.

When they searched the car, they found marijuana, ski masks, gloves, and two semi-automatic rifles, an AK-47 and an AR-15. They also found several baby bottles filled with "purple juice", which police say typically means a mix of codeine and other liquids.

Carlos Wright, Sidney Wilson, and Devin Wilson, were arrested for possession of less than 20 grams of cannabis and drug paraphernalia.  The guns found in the SUV were impounded for safe keeping.
