TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Highway Patrol says that they pulled over three FSU students for speeding and discovered marijuana, hash oil, and drug paraphernalia in their car.

Troopers say that the car, driven by 18-year-old Jacob Harris, was traveling north on U.S. Highway 19, going 113 mph in a 65 mph zone.

The black Ford Mustang was stopped and searched, troopers uncovering marijuana, hash oil, and large amounts of drug paraphernalia.

The backseat passenger, Brant Tucker, 18, told them that the drugs and paraphernalia were his.

The men, all three from Tampa, explained that they were Florida State students and were speeding back because they were going to be late to class.

Tucker was arrested and charged for felony drug possession, possession of hash oil, possession of marijuana less than 20 grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The driver, Harris, was charged with excessive speed.
