TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Three finalists will compete tonight for a $1,000 grant from Awesome Tallahassee.
Awesome Tallahassee is a local chapter of the Awesome Foundation, which looks to fund smaller scale projects that will make the community a better place.
The three finalists tonight include:
- iGrow Giving Garden: Frenchtown youth empowerment urban agricultural program
- VFW Historical Mural: Repainting exterior walls of VFW Post 3308
- Innovative Education Ecosystem: Ending a local food desert through a community garden/market.
Tonight's event will be held at the Tallahassee Center on the second floor at 6:00 p.m.
