JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A man faces multiple charges after three children in his car, including a 1-and 8-year-old, were injured in a single-car accident in Jackson County where they were not wearing seatbelts.

Robert Harris, 32, of Grand Ridge, Fla. was arrested by Florida Highway Patrol on Friday.

FHP said while the car was overturning, a 1-year-old and 8-year-old were thrown around inside the car.

Both sustained serious injuries in the accident and a 10-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries.

All the children were taken to Southeast Alabama Medical Center.

Harris sustained minor injuries, but was not taken to a hospital.

FHP stated Harris and the three children were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
