We talked with one of the victims who says he and his roommates were only away for a couple of hours when their home was burglarized back in December.
"It was a pretty awful feeling, knowing someone was in your house and rummaging through your possessions and the fact that we lost a couple thousand dollars worth of stuff, it was just not cool," said Joey Scotten.
Joey Scotten says his gun was recovered but he didn't get his laptop back.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla.--During the months of October 2012 through January 2013, TPD investigators in the Criminal Investigation Division noticed an increase in residential burglaries and street robberies throughout the Northwest area of Tallahassee.
