MADISON Co., FL (WTXL) - Three people were arrested Thursday after a drug investigation in Madison County.

According to the Sheriff's Office, the Drug Task Force conducted a covert operation that led to the arrests.

An arrest warrant for Calvin Jerome Bruton was obtained by the Task Force in addition to a search warrant of his home.

When deputies served the search warrant, they say they uncovered 6.67 pounds of the synthetic drug "Spice", 3.72 pounds of marijuana, and 20 doses of a Scheduled II drug. A hand gun was also found.

Two men, Patrick Moore and Michael Wilson, were inside the home when the warrant was served and were also arrested.

The men were able to give deputies information on where to find Burton and he was subsequently arrested.

Burton was charged with the sale of synthetic marijuana (spice) within 1000 feet of child care facility, possession marijuana with intent to sell within 1000 feet of child care facility, possession marijuana over 20 grams, possession synthetic marijuana over 3 grams, possession schedule ii with intent to sell, possession drug paraphernalia, and possession firearm by convicted felon.

Moore was charged with the possession of a controlled substance and Wilson was charged with resisting arrest.
