Thomasville woman one of 71 Georgians arrested in FBI sting

THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL) A Thomasville woman is one of 71 Georgians arrested as a result of an FBI sting operation.

21 year old Joy Martin of Thomasville was arrested on prostitution, along with 70 other Georgians, in the week-long sting known as Operation Cross Country.

The FBI's Atlanta field office says 11 children were rescued in Georgia as a result of Operation Cross Country.

In total, the nationwide operation netted 280 arrests, and rescued 168 children.
