THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL) - A Thomasville teenager is behind bars tonight after police say he assaulted an autistic teenager who was talking to his girlfriend.
19-Year-Old Jordan Stewart is facing aggravated assault charges after witnesses reported that he beat up a Thomas County Central High School student, who was talking to his girlfriend on the Southern Regional Technical College campus.
Police said Stewart knocked the victim unconscious, and was hospitalized as a result of his injuries.
He is recovering and has been released from the hospital.
