THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL) - More than 2,000 cases of water are on the way to hurricane victims in Texas from South Georgia.
A truck picked up the load from the Second Harvest food bank in Thomasville earlier this morning.
The water is housed at the food bank for FEMA and is always on standby for natural disasters.
Second Harvest staff say, due to the January 22nd tornadoes, they've seen first hand how much water and other basic supplies are needed to help displaced families.
The water will make its way to another food bank in Texas and then distributed to those in need.
