THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL) - Residents in Thomasville are pushing for council members to cancel their credit cards and re-emburse the city for what they call "improper and illegal expenses."

An attorney representing the group sent a letter to the city, saying the charges violate the city's travel policy.

Now, he says those council members should re-imburse the city more than $3,100.

According to the Thomasville-Times Enterprise, nearly $2,000 is from Mayor Greg Hobbs alone.
