THOMASVILLE, GA (WTXL) - Officials in Thomasville are searching for a two year old taken by his grandmother last week.
According to the Thomasville Police Department, Jaiden Jackson was taken by his grandmother, Deshena Douglas, without the permission of his mother on September 20.
He was staying with a different grandmother in Thomasville who was misled to believe Douglas was taking the child to his mother in St. Petersburg, according to police.
On Wednesday, police said they have new information that he may be in the Atlanta area near Marrietta or Riverdale.
Douglas is believed to be traveling with the boy and two other adults, Malik White and Dana Jackson.
Deshena Douglas, Malik White, and Dana Jackson are all wanted for forgery charges.
They are believed to be in a tan 2003 to 2007 model Chevrolet suburban.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Thomasville Police Department at (229) 227-3249.
